About

Jo is a degree-qualified counsellor (Bachelor of Counselling) offering online counselling Australia-wide. She provides integrative, evidence-informed therapy via secure telehealth video sessions, in a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space.
She has a strong focus on relationships, family dynamics, parenting, and patterns of reliance on substances or behaviours. Jo supports individuals, parents, and carers to better understand emotional responses, interpersonal patterns, and communication styles, helping to strengthen connection and improve relationship functioning.
In her work with families, Jo supports parents to build confidence in their caregiving role, develop practical strategies to respond to children's emotional and behavioural needs, and foster secure, attuned relationships. Her approach focuses on enhancing emotional awareness, improving communication, and creating more consistent and responsive parenting practices.
Jo also works with individuals experiencing unhelpful coping patterns, supporting them to better understand underlying emotional drivers and develop more adaptive, sustainable ways of managing stress and distress.
She helps clients build self-awareness, resilience, and more effective ways of relating to themselves and others, particularly where past experiences continue to impact present relationships.
